Sooo, things have been going fairly well down here. I have gotten into the swing of classes and for the most part the vast majority of the work that I have to do is simply reading. There is quite a bit of reading. 

My roomates are great although I rarely see them simply because they are both on the basketball team and as such their schedule is very different from mine. I am normally trying to get to bed by 11 as I got class in the morning however thats when they like to start their work because they do not have morning classes. My program is pretty cool, although so far I have not really started too many projects involving an actual video camera yet although there are some projects I am pursing. 

Community wise, well this is something that I would request prayer in. Given the size of the university, it's easy to meet a lot of people but to go deep with those people is another matter. I would like to find a group of guys with whom I can invest in relationally so that we might seek the Lord together, but this is proving a somewhat difficult as everyone has different shedules and at the same time, i'm finding there are not as many guys (this may sound prideful but I do not mean it in that way) seeking the Lord in the way that I am. So prayer for a community to form that would be good. 

As for a church, I have found a nice little church to get involved with and am actually already involved in their children's department. I had 8 grade 1 & 2 boys this past week. Wow lol, I forgot how much energy little boys can have. One of the boys littles sisters, who could not have been mor than 5 turned to me and talked about her brother saying, "he got beat, he got whipped, whipped with a belt". This might sound morbid but the way she said it was soooooo funny. Picture I 5 year old saying something like this factually and with a southern twang and full of energy at the same time. I couldn't keep from laughing, and I do not think she was serious...although the boy probably did get a spanking.

that about all for now...there is not too much else going on that I can think of. Although I did happen to meet one gentleman named Kean who has kinda taken me under his wing and he is 62 and out program directors right hand man so I am praying that opportunity might come from that.
